From Stagnant to Soaring: Embracing the Power of Change

There comes a moment in every life, regardless of faith or background, when the familiar becomes too small for the destiny ahead. Whether you're chasing a God-given purpose or reaching for your next big goal, there comes a time when comfort starts to feel like a cage instead of a calling. That’s when change shows up not always gently, not always with notice but always with a divine or timely purpose.

To the believer, change can feel like a holy shaking God stirring the waters, calling you out of the boat like He did Peter. To the dreamer in the world, it may feel like the universe nudging you forward. But in both, the principle stands: what looks like disruption is often preparation.

What if the discomfort you feel isn’t punishment rather  positioning? What if the stillness isn’t peace, or stagnation? What if that restlessness is God or life itself urging you to grow, to move, to rise?

The Bible says in Isaiah 40:31, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles.” Eagles soar because they surrender to the wind—just as we must surrender to the seasons of change, even when they’re uncomfortable.

Whether you're trusting God’s lead or following your sense of inner purpose, you were not made to remain in fear, indecision, or delay. You were created to soar. But soaring requires courage. It requires letting go of the known for the unknown, trading comfort for calling, and choosing growth over security.

It’s time to break free from mental limitations, spiritual slumber, or emotional loops that keep you circling the same mountain. Stop rehearsing past hurts or failures. Stop clinging to what no longer feeds your future. Growth rarely comes wrapped in ease. But staying stuck comes with a higher price.

Yes, change may stretch you. But it will also strengthen you. It may unsettle your plans, but it will align your purpose. It may humble you, but it will also prepare you for more.

So, don't fear the shift. Don’t idolize your current level. Don’t wait for a breakdown before you step into your breakthrough. Be bold enough to say, “Lord, if You’re moving I’ll move too. If this is growth, I won’t run. If this is purpose, I’ll embrace it.”

This is your time to rise whether you're led by faith or fueled by hope. Break the cycle. Unlearn the fear. Trust that if God is calling you out, He’s already prepared the next. And if life is pushing you forward, it’s because you’re meant for higher.

You are not stuck. You are being stirred.

So spread your wings. Trust the wind of change. And soar not because you feel ready, but because heaven and earth both agree it’s your time.
